As the first sacrament, baptism is an important step in a child’s journey of faith. It is a special event that is only celebrated once in a lifetime.
Through this act, the baby is accepted into the Christian community of faith. At the same time, the parents and godparents are making a commitment that they will raise the child in the Christian faith.
Through the Mangold Foundation of Erlinda and Uwe Mangold and with the additional support of Aurelia Wilde as Ninang and Michael Wilde as Ninong, little Mayvin Faith was solemnly baptized by the local pastor on Tuesday, 04.02.2025 in the small church in Lower Duale.
Her parents Maylin and Alvin Castillo were overjoyed and delighted that their little daughter Faith had been accepted into the Christian community.
The celebration was then held at Maylin and Alvin’s home in typical Aita style in the village of Kinagaran.
