Water, especially running water is a big problem here in the Philippines. Unfortunately, there is no central water distribution in these rural areas, so that each family has to provide more or less by itself, how and with which means to get water. Still people can be seen here, who drive daily with water containers of all kinds to publicly installed water points in the villages, and transport water to their homes.

The Mangold Foundation has already invested several times in water tanks, and helped families accordingly, also with supply lines. In the current case, our foundation has invested in a stainless steel tank for a family, which was installed at the top near the house. Now, the water is pumped up from the adjacent water supply outside with a pump, so that the bathroom with toilet is supplied with enough pressurized water. A great help for the family with many children.
